Guests | Quebec Craft Council

Artisans Marie-Annick Viatour and Gaétan Berthiaume plunge us into their world of sculptures and toys with this playful pictorial exhibition. Inspired by the novel Ru, by Kim Thúy, these sculptors evoke the author’s childhood in Vietnam, her stay in a refugee camp in Malaysia and her arrival and life in Quebec. In addition to your visit to the exhibition, enjoy a half-hour video that shows Kim Thúy’s emotion-packed response to seeing the pieces of these sculptors for the first time.

Discover the courses that Cégep du Vieux- Montréal offers in conjunction with Institut des métiers d’art: ceramics, textile construction, textile printing, cabinet making, jewellery, violin-guitar making, leatherwork, glass and more.
